Our North Mankato venue offers athletes a one-of-a-kind swim experience as we emulate open water swimming while in a sand-bottom pool. Seniors will complete two laps while intermediate and juniors will each do one lap of varied distances. While the depth of the water varies, most juniors will be able to touch at all time, however, swimming would be more efficient.
Senior and intermediate athletes will complete a "lollipop" style bike course by exiting the park and surrounding neighborhoods and completing 3 and 2 laps respectively on Lake St before returning to Spring Lake Park. Juniors will complete one amended lap. The course is relatively flat and, as always, closed to vehicular traffic.
The run course for all athletes will be held entirely within Spring Lake Park. Seniors will complete two laps of the Intermediate, 1 mile, course which circumnavigates the park, the lake and the baseball fields. The course runs on both paved trail and grass and crosses two bridges on each lap. Juniors will complete an amended out and back course before hitting the finish line party.
It takes more than just a few extra hands to build our revolution in each community we arrive in. We have two shifts, one for race day, one for set up day. Sign up here and join our team!
